    Hello Folks,

I'm looking for an early 95 355, right hand CAM cover P/N: 154653.

I need a non-damaged cover, it will be painted so I don't care if the finish is bad. I need something that is not broken, cracked or warped - sealing surfaces must be good.

This is for an early 355 in which the spark plug cover has only 4 screws for fastening.

The attached photo is an example.

    Thank you.

To clarify as some have asked - this cover only have 4 screw holes for the plug cover. That's the one I need (early cover)

    Thanks.

Ok, just wanted to make sure you’d seen it. I’ve bought a few items from them in the past and didn’t have any trouble.

Brian - I appreciate you looking out - thank you. My guess is it may have been a language barrier with that company. What's weird is some of there prices are good while others are out to lunch - higher than new OEM. I found a set of covers with the more holes and I think I paid $400 for the set of 2. I'm just trying to keep my car original.

I forgot Dave, what's wrong with the one you have? Nothing welding/machining could fix?

Hey Jim - It's been welded (by someone else in the past) and it's not great. IIRC, the gasket surface is not flat (possible warped from the welding heat).

Well if you get desperate could probably weld a bead all the way around and machine it back flat.

Jim - I found a set of covers with the 10 or 11 screw holes - so I can use those. Just still looking for another should one come around ;)
