Chassis internals

As you guys may already know, I'm parting out Mondials that are beyond salvation. I'm currently cutting a Mondial T apart after having removed all good parts. A very interesting thing as you can see how the chassis and body were made and put together.

I took a number of pictures that clearly show how the internal chassis looks like, things you would never see (fingers crossed), but may be interesting to know how they did it at the factory. Let me know if it wouldn't be too shocking for you guys to see

 

Well, here are some pics that give an overview of the work. I removed the roof and after that the front windscreen. Next thing is to remove the front suspension and the front block, then the rear trunk.

I stripped the good body parts off the chassis, though.

 

I kept the subframe which was in good condition, all other chassis tubes are gone.
