Hi all After much deliberation and following f chat views I am going for it. I have put my deposit down on an 812 (UK). Delivery could be 2020. I plan to do main spec in the uk but finish at the factory. In the meantime I have asked my local dealer to find me a 458 to a spec I like which I have provided. I was thinking it's not a clever time to buy but I have decided once a car I like comes up, get it as another may not appear for some time. Many f chatters have advised this..... This will be my first f car although I do have an AML V12 Vantage S to keep it company. Looking. Forward to speccing 812 but also getting a 458 in the interim. Anyone else ordering now getting such a long lead time.
I think if the dealer is telling the truth you have done well. The rumours are, that all the allocation have been sold out a long time ago, thinking about it, the head of Ferrari North Europe also told me a few months ago that even some F12 owners could not get one! So that would imply they were all sold out.
Yes I have also been told that UK dealers have filled their allocations - at least for the first 3 years.
I have been told, prices for UK cars are going up 7% for cars delivered after the 1st of January 2018. That will add about £20,000 on to an 812.
Good Morning folks, got the information from my dealer yesterday, Prcices in Europe will go up by 3 % excluding VAT. This will be in effect as of 01.01.2018. Excepted are cars which were accepted for production be for Sep 27.
Talking to one of the large UK dealers today (not mine) they mentioned that RHD dealer demos were delayed and they had NO idea when first UK customer cars would arrive !
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Hi all I got the 458 - picture attached. It's being delivered on the 27th October, can't wait. Amazing spec and I will post all details next week and more pictures. Got the 458 from meridian Modena who told me they were sold out of 812's and they thought the uk was as well.
I was told the same, the dealer thought about Christmas for a demo and low and behold the next week the demos turn up!! It looks like Ferrari are not talking to the dealers.
All very odd - my experience UK dealers were super bearish re deliveries saying slower schedule than GTC which was Demo Q1 and customers March onwards. Lo and behold appears about a Quarter ahead of GTC. Like for like.
Hopefully UK dealers have learnt that it is better to under promise and over deliver than the other way round !
