I'd have to dig through my records again, but I don't think 005M (noted in the linked site) is the right number for that first Ferrari of Washington car (I was crew on these cars during that time).

Going just from memory, I believe our '02 championship car was 2008 and our '03 championship car was 2036. But that first car, at the beginning of the '02 season (with the curved wing) was not in that number sequence, as it was built from parts collected over the previous couple of Ferrari Challenge seasons (it might even have had a 6-digit "VIN"/chassis number - though "008M" also springs to mind....). ---Found it - the first car was 006M/119536.

    FWIW.

    Thanks.

p.s. - the 2002 wins noted in the linked site were with 2008, our second car of that season, but the first to be delivered as a "factory" F360GT (vice a Michelotto car, even if they did the work). There are more details in my piece "From Ferrari Challenge to GT Championship" in FCA's PRANCING HORSE, #190, p. 34, most notably, the incredibly tight time-line in getting that first factory car (2008) from factory, testing, and to Watkins Glen for its first race - and first win! :)
