2017 Malaysian GP Pre-race thread

Not sure which way it goes if it rains the whole time. Probably can't hurt us too much in light of Mercedes, on paper, probably being a bit stronger based on the track. On the other hand, that rain didn't help in Singapore...

 

Typical forecast for the area there. This favors Mercedes a bit more than Ferrari possibly. Hopefully another mixed up grid to keep us entertained.

 

I was entertained for all of 5 seconds at Singapore.

 

Yap, Kvyat was a waist of space in an f.1 car...but gasly won't be much better...

 

Maybe 6 this time. Give Liberty time as they try to improve the show LOL

 

That's a projected 20% increase, impressive by any standard.

I just want to ask fellow Fchatters to avoid saying "this track suits best for Merc/Ferrari/RB....

Last time a track suited the reds...well...not nice to remember, huh?

 

Does anyone know if Ferrari is bringing their new engine? I hope it doesn't rain. This race is critical for Ferrari and the Mercedes definitely seems to be the stronger package in the wet.

Maybe my memory is wrong but haven't they been worse in the rain than Merc and RB this year.

 

I guess no one cares anymore, if it rains like hell, maybe Seb will do something good and Elton stuff it...or maybe it will be the other way around..the litle brat seems to have all the luck this year...

 

Honestly the wind has been taken out of the sails of this season after Singapore. With the LH title inevitable, all the drama is gone
