Owner is a really nice guy and fond of Jags... one of Tom M. friends. I know Tom has worked on it before - great to see it running (comment is not a reflection of Tom's mechanical abilities )

Didn't want to create a new thread, so I thought I'd bump this in the process.

My question is: Are there any car shows near Round Rock, if so, when and where. There was one that was on 620 in the empty Albertsons parking lot. I hear it moved once again. I'll be back on Thursday, so I want to know so I can try to show up to an event, and possibly meet some of ya'll after a long time. Pcar928...I know you live around me, so you probably know where some are.

It's still there (I started it and got it back going)...I was there the other night and there were at least 70 cars...keep in mind though, with colder evenings on the way, that it will dwindle down and possibly halt until warmer evenings take on. BUT...with HCD we do in promptu gatherings every once in a while on Saturday nights. Yesterday we had a couple of Ferrari's, a couple of Astons, some SuperPerformance cars, and some Vipers...good times.

I have not gone to one of the car shows since it moved from the Home Depot parking lot just down from my neighborhood! Glad it is still going on at the old Albertsons parking lot. Might have to show up there if we have a nice unusually warm (for this time of year anyway) Saturday night!

Keep me posted! Love to hook up with more folks from the F-chat site here!

Well, it normally starts around 6:30 or so. But lately we have noticed a bigger uptick around 7-7:30. However, with the weather getting colder, expect the crowd to be small and possibly even non-existent on cold evenings.

But like I said earlier, HCD meets up a few times here and there and we at least email out prior

Thanks, I'll try to make it out Saturday night, I'm like 5 minutes away, I'll go and if no one is there, I'll get some food at that McDonald's and wait till some people start to show up.

He said that he finally started the engine on the black car, so it sounds like it's come a long way since I last saw it. I love the race car but he should sell it since I doubt he'll be doing anymore racing.

Hey James,

I need to send you pictures of a blue GranTurismo S that I looked at yesterday. Now that car is a looker!

I bet! I have not seen a blue one live and in person yet. The one I drove last month was black. They look really good in the darker colors. I would think Burgundy would be a great color for a Granturismo!

Looking forward to seeing the pics Tyler!

Anyone from here going to the Round Rock car show? Me and a buddy are going to go, it's warm now so hopefully it's nice weather tonight as well. It was like 60 at 11pm last night, wonderful weather.
