Prototype racing cars have always seemed a bit sleeker and lower than the other kind of race cars out there and the P 4/5 C has this fantastic blend of a classic Ferrari prototype body shape on a modern race chassis.
Like the road-going P 4/5, the P 4/5 C has those large side scoops that reach down almost as low as the wheel axles.
The arched front fenders, the round cockpit roof line, the wide flat back of the car - all these things make it an amazing sight to see as it flies around the track.

We continue to root for you, the underdog - the newest racing contender - the small team armed with passion and the single person "constructor" behind it all.

God speed, Mr. G. - with an emphasis on the speed part.

Those are welcome as well but this year it won't matter. The German Cars are REALLY fast.

We're fixing our chassis, adding cooling to our KERS batteries, juicing our alternator so we can burn our new lights, tweaking our engines and waiting to hear from the organizers.

We shall see.

Read this thread just about every day . . . Glad bugs are getting sorted out, and as toggie intimated, P4/5 C is living up to it's name in form and function.

Jim it seems the Mclaren is not leaning at all in the corners. Are they allowed to run that active suspension?

No - the 12C GT3 cars have a traditional suspension setup complete with old school anti-roll bars.

Did you guys go to a long rod?

Sweet pic of the velocity stacks, but SOB those restrictors are T I N Y. I knew they were small, but common! It's almost like they don't want you to win.

The organisers have a lot of pressure from everyone but we remain hopeful.

While I realize that the big boys don't want to risk being embarrassed by a bunch of "upstarts" I hope that the organizers will be a bit evenhanded.

We are pleased that P 4/5 CM will be wearing the same number that her Sister 0846 wore when she last raced at The Ring.

JG,

Although this has been covered, are you planning on getting a second car together at any point? The reason I ask is the organizers making decisions on weight and air could have have a harder time denying your requests with a larger team. It would seem I say this lightly but I do know the huge undertaking it would be (time & $). Maybe it wouldn't help at all.

Good luck getting the chassis back together. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Chassis is just about repaired and strengthened. We'll be testing early next week and then head to the Ring.

We're not expanding beyond one car.

I think we'll get a fair shake from the regulators and hope to have a good race.

If the latter then the former.
