Garretto,

the 512M wheeels was one more reason for me to buy the car!
I love those wheels and I`m sure, thats the one and only set up with the original rare 512M wheels. You can`t buy the wheels regular; price is around €: 9.000,- without tyres. Well, I payed nothing `cause I bought the car with the wheels and the pre-owner spent the money on it, thanks!
But you are right:
"It is more or less a matter of taste"

Wolfarossa,

Jeez my friend - you almost gave away your 308! Didn't you feel any pain when you handed the keys over?

Cheers, MARK

According to the prices we've discussed lately, it seems very expensive. A few years ago (maybe 5 or 6) there was a 308 GT4 for sale in Bilbao. I think the price was about 3.200.000 pesetas which is close to 20,000 €.

From then on, the price of a 308 GT4 should have slightly gone down probably, right?

Ciao,
Rodolfo

LOL, the 612, MAM sadly I have to agree with you, I don't like the stetics of the 456 replacement.

One thing, today is the 3rd time I have seen a red 308 QV in the road from Majadahonda to Villanueva del Pardillo in Madrid. This time I saw the 308 turrning in direction of Villanueva, so I guess he lives there.

Unffortunatelly all those 3 times I was driving the Peugeot, so although I saluted him I got no response.

Does any of you know the owner? So far I know of 3 Ferraris in a 6 km radius now, that 308, a Testarrosa, and mine.

Regards.

- Julio

----------------------------

Bueno saludos.

- Julio.

Julio I hope you guessed I was kidding. It would be quite difficult to be around here not knowing about the new 612.

No clues about your 308 spot, but with a registration number it would be easier. I might have it in my archive. Now do like I do with my celica and get some Ferrari stickers if you want to be saluted by F-drivers Do you salute F-fans when you drive yours? F-drivers in Spain are not always very kind...

Ciao,
Rodolfo

Ciao,
Rodolfo

I knew, LOL, I was just trying to be silly.

Unffortunatelly I can not put Ferrari stickers in the Peugeot, it is a company car, so it is not mine. But it is a Pininfarina, does that worth something for Ferrari owners?

I try to answer back when somebody flashes or salutes me, however some time I just go too fast to react in time But you are right in Spain not that many people answers back, not only among Ferrari owners, but anybody.

I am sure I am going to se that car again, it seems to take the same route that I use to go to my new house. It is a very nice piece of road, about 10 kilometers of twisted road with good asphalt, low traffic and good visibility. Unffortunatelly it is also highly populated with mobile Radar Police cars, hmm... I wonder why

If I see it again I will try to get the plate number.

- Julio.

------------------

Gracias.

Julio.

OMFG!!! %Z&@!//#X!!! Thank god you drive a Ferrari... I don't like diesels and find coupé diesels a huuuuuuge nonsense. Worst of all is that they've managed to sell a diesel pininfarina...

I won't say that I love diesels yet. But they are getting way better, the BMW 330D is a nice sport car, and you have to love the torque of those engines. The 406 Coupe diesel is way better that the 2.2 liter gasoline model. Soon the only thing to hate of a diesel will be the noise, that kills them for me.

Have you tried the 330D, ask Alfredo, he has one. It gets really close to the M3 on the highway, not in acceleration though, but it is faster in recovering speed once running.

Still a very nice design, the 406 Coupe. If it were mine I would had bought the V6, but as it was a Company car I had to go with the diesel. Still it makes a really good daily driver, is really silent inside, even at high speeds, it is very confortable, and very noble handling. However is quite heavy and big.

I always had sport cars, even though I love my Ferrari, the car I still miss the most is my Lancia Integrale 16v. I had one that was stolen 2 years ago. I loved that car. That car had near perfect handling, and it was exhilarating all the time. I might buy one again if I find the right one.

But this is a Ferrari Forum, I hope that my next car will be a 456, maybe next year if everything goes well.

Julio that is GREAT news!!! I hope everything goes well

Abut the diesels, I agree with you they're getting better and better. But they still lack that bit of smoothness and that "spicy" revving.

Saludos.
