Pre-Med student

Hey everyone, I am entering college in the fall to study Pre-Med and was wondering if there are any doctors in the Nashville area who would be interested in having me shadow them next summer. I am primarily interested in Cardiology and Emergency Medicine, but I am of course more than open to learning about any kind of medicine. I would really appreciate it if anyone was willing to help, I am incredibly excited to start my studies! Thanks,
-Joey

This is a car site. I think you might be better off finding a site geared towards medical.

Understood, I was just hoping I could find help through fellow car-enthusiasts who are doctors. If you think it's inappropriate, I will remove the thread.

It's not inappropriate, it was just odd to me to read such a post in a car enthusiast forum. Good luck with finding someone help you out, but you might want to try other forums as well. That's all.

Thanks, and will do! I just know that there are a couple of doctors who are car enthusiasts in the area, didn't mean to confuse anyone!

Try giving Vandy a call. Just contact the department you're interested in and they should be able to set you up. We do it all the time at UT Knoxville.

Obamacare. You should also pay for a silver subscription and talk to the docs in there. Lots of good info.

Study hard though, world will always need doctors? Where are you going to school btw?

Thanks for the advice, I think I will upgrade to silver. I still definitely want to be a doctor despite the political climate, it's definitely worth the hard work. Also, I'm going to Brandeis University near Boston.
