I prefer the look of this car over the Gallardo. Would be interesting to see if they'd add a V10 option later. Maybe even a V10 TDI ( similar to the Sebring winner) in the future?
They managed to make a Gallardo look chubby. The concept was much nicer in shape, Audis only hope is to get the details perfect (something Lamborghini failed to do with their Gallardo) and release it before too much info about the mini-Bugatti reaches potential buyers ears. Looks wicked in flat black, though.
For a prototype it looks damn good. Too bad VW/Audi Group is spending so much resources on Niche Models that compete with one another instead of getting their manufacturing costs in line on the VW Mainstream cars.
They already have a prototype with the V-10 from the Gallardo in it being tested... watch out what you wish for. Brad
I love the design of the G, save the length and the rear. A LWB would be my next car, if they made it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I liked the prototype. The runner looks...odd. http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/country/gcf/spyphotoID/6060330.005/audi/more-audi-r8-spy-photos I can see Michael Jackson digging this car.
In my mind, low compact cars are econobox ricers, while exotics are low, long, and wide. Man more and more it looks like the BugV Jr. I bet you will be able to get a BugV style from spoiler aftermarket when that comes out.
More Pictures. http://www.mph-online.com/web/spyphotos/0038 I think the car is Amazing.. I dont see one design fault on the entire car. Even more information.. http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Audi_News/article_2113.shtml
Reaaaly like the way the car looks, other Audi's I have liked in a way that one likes the BMW 3 series. They're nice, but nothing I'm going to do a double take on. Don't like the fact that it has Gallardo wheels on it. Different car, different brand (I know, I know...still Audi), needs different wheels.
Thats like saying the Murcielago looks like an XL Gallardo. The R8 Looks a THOUSAND times better than the current and future TT.
wasn't this the lemans? my names in with the dealer for putting down a deposit for when ever it's ready, but with all the constant electrical trouble i've been having with the A8L right now. i think i'll pass. it's strange but i've lost the desire to own the new cars as they are constantly having electrical issues. the old non ABS, computor controled relics of the past give me way less headaches. the dealer keeps buggin me to buy back my A8 as they need them for re-sale but i'm not interested in anything else right now. appathetic really, kinda sad as i love cars. oh well.
