I came accross this car looking for Dino's.

Has the price of quality Dinos gone up this much in the last year or two (the last time I looked they were about 100).

This car looks nice, but it is not even the best of the best...a 96 point car?

I would love to hear about some real sale prices if anybody has factual data over the last year or so.

    Thanks

While the car will probably not get too close to the asking price of near $150k, this kind of advertising helps to push the prices of the model up in general. The seller will probably get in the $120-$125k range in my opinion.

This has to be the same car.

I saw the car when the owner brought it to a show in Memphis. I don't like the color change on the seats from black to red but guess that was part of the "new interior".

Nice appreciation for a year or two with some new seat covers.

I love the Dino, and I really truly aspire to own one some day (I know, I know...to go from an 8cyl to a 6cyl instead of to a 12cyl is damn-near sacrilege in the F-world), regardless of price. I once hoped to be able to afford a Daytona coupe or, if really unique circumstances arise, a 275GTB. Considering the skyrocketing prices of those cars, I imagine that a Dino or a 512/365BB will be the only "vintage" cars I'll be able to afford whenever the time comes.

That said, this car looks almost *too* good....too clean, too new, etc. Additionally, I don't like the color. Wait...let me rephrase that - I don't like the color on *this* car. Silver over red is one of the all-time greatest interior/exterior color combinations - EVER. There is hardly a car that looks poor in silver over red or oxblood. HOWEVER... I think the Dino really excels in Orange, Yellow, Red, and Blue over either Black or Tan. The car is just too voluptuous to be painted silver.

Getting back to the condition of the car - I enjoy driving my cars. If I had the opportunity to purchase this very car, I'd be afraid to drive it! It just looks too new - almost over-restored. I'd be ashamed of any dents, dings, nicks, or scratches that the car incurred at my expense. Imagining that I had $150k cash in the bank for a car, I would pass on a $150k Dino every day of the week and twice on Sunday for a $80k-$100k car that I could actually drive, and in my spare time over the years, "improve" until it's show-quality, but still driveable.

    That's just me...

Nice looking car and if you dont have the $150K in the bank, simply finance it with zero down and $6K/mth for 2 years like the calculator says on the link.
