I am considering putting together a car corral for the FCA members.
I need volunteers that can be there early on thursday to "stake -off" an area and early friday to set up.

    Charles,

Get a hold of John Montgomery. He's working with some big dollar sponsorship fromGrassroots Motorsports magazine and working with Vinny from Giovanis to have an all Italian coral. We even have the space reserved....just over the bridge to the right..I believe the Porsche group had that space last year. Much more sold ground with much less sand and gravel. John asked me for your email address last week, but I didn't have it to give......so contact him asap so you aren't duplicating efforts unless you want a seperate FCA coral.

Glad to hear it. I have a suggestion. I looked into this in the past for the Petit Le Mans. They wanted several thousand for a car coral area. Here is what I came up with:

You can rent serveral side by side RV spaces for a few hundred bucks. You save money, and you will not have to park your car on the dirt or mud-Plus I am sure someone must have an RV we can set up as a hospitality station. I would like for FCA to do this for the ALMS event also, as the F430's may come this year. I am looking forward to seeing them at Sebring.

you have to get ahold of Bill Mcdonald at Grassroots which I bet John has already done. The Lotus guys will be just accross from the Ferrari guys as we have been there for years which will be cool to have you guys just accross from us. Lets get together and maybe do a meet and greet with you guys ?

Giovanni's is sponsoring the team Lotus race car for the Mitty and Vinny is already all excited about doing your all Italian only corral.

the Porsche guys in years past have been veeeery territorial about that location you guys want so hopefully you can get it. It would be cool to have the Brits and Italians right across from eacth other so we can swap fun. I will trade some of my British racing green, for some Ferrari red anyday.

It would seem that the German area is far too small, and the French one far too big! (I can remember seeing one Citroen in all my trips to RA, and that's it!)

The map is very fluid and not ready for prime time. It will most likely change. I jumped the gun and posted it before it was ready for distribution.

Nothing is carved in stone yet.
