Not exactly what you're looking for, but that will give you an idea.
I think the difference between racing and standard seats is around 18kg on a 430.

The difference in my pcar was 54# per seat, but the gt3 seats are more stripped down than the fcar racing shells. I bet Alex is about right at 35# or maybe 40# per side. Significant.

I also removed my electric Daytona's and replaced them with Ferrari sport seats. I was told the weight difference was about 45 pounds each or 90 pounds total weight savings. For me, the sport seats are much more comfortable and I love the additional feel for the road I get.

    Amazingly beautiful!!!!

    a few more questions:

    1. do you feel any weight-loss while the car is accelerating?

    2. just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for the sports seats? (they are listed ($4266.00) on the MSRP tag). PM me if you like :)

    3. how do they dye the sets? urs looks just stunning

    thanks!

    1. Not at all.

    2. I was quoted from FOC, $11,000 each for the c/f sport seats and a 6 month wait. I bought them on ebay for 6k.

    3. The seats are not died but totally reupholstered by Fernando at Presige Auto Upholstery. I know of some that have died the seats, but I just started from scratch. The leather that is used is amazing, maybe too good, because it looks better than the othe leather in the car.

I will end up putting the Daytona's back in when I sell the car, depending on what the next owner wants, and sell the extra pair.

    1. Wow.. I would assume shaving 100lbs off an already light-wt 360 would make a little or some difference in straight-line acceleration, guess not?!

    2. $11,000 at the dealer... pretty steep

    3. How much does it cost to re-do both seats? most importantly, what are your sitting/driving impressions on the powered-daytonas vs. sport seats?

    Thanks a million. :)

    1. I misunderstood the question. The car feels quick, but not having timed anything I'm not sure. I was told that saving 100 lbs. of weight would make the car .1 quicker in my 0-60 or was it the 1/4 mile?

    3. I paid $2k out the door to redo both seats. I feel much more in touch with what the car is doing in the sport seats. I used to sit up too high in the Daytona's. It's now more of a karting feel, more feel of the road. I really like them. Not as much padding but so much more feel.

Good question. I'm obviously not that smart. I didn't know they came in sizes nor was a size advertised. I'm 6'1" and 183 pounds and the seats fit really well. They hold me snug without being confining. My passenger last week weighed about 210 pounds and he said he was comfortable. I'm going to guess medium, only because I've sat in sport seats in another 360 and it didn't feel as secure. Is there a way to measure to find the size? I didn't see it listed anywhere on the seat.

judging by the average weight of the Ferrari owners at Monterrey last year....i'd say worrying about the weight difference between seats is comical..!

I'd say both. The info comes from the cd-rom i was sent after i ordered the car, but it's not clear if it's per seat or all in.

If so, it doesn't match the other figures posted in the thread, so the question is still open.

    Rgds,

Modenafan, I just realized the sports seats you bought from ebay is from F430 but not 360?

Also I was asking do you feel the car is significantly lighter or faster) after you installed the racing sets? 0~60 or 1/4mile or suddent accerleration etc

They were advertised as 360 seats and the rails bolt into where my old ones were. Does the 430 have the same bolt pattern?

The car feels quick, but I wouldn't say "significantly" quicker. I bought them due to the fact I had trouble seeing without hunching and it was hurting my back to drive. The new seats lowered me to where I now can attain a comfortable driving position. If the car's quicker, it's an added bonus.

Sure looks like F430 to me. Does that mean I can get more money for them when I sell them? J/K

Mine are OEM, as far as I know, but it seems I don't know that much. LOL

Mine came with sport seats. I don't like the look of the stock seats.

Sparco makes the seat for Ferrari. Why not try calling Sparco USA directly? I bet it would be less than buying them from Ferrari.
