Wow! That really came out nice!! Outstanding!!! How long did it take? And roughly what was the cost? Thanks...
thanks, matteo. i really wish i could have had the talent to embark on a project like this on my own like yours but i don't. it'd have been a lot more satisfying.
Was that the 328 you purchased on E-bay for that low price ?? If so tell us what needed to be done to it . Looks great now .
Tom, Wow!! Looks really good!! I'm glad you are able to get it home before Christmas. Enjoy & have a Happy New Year.
yes, it was saddle. the interior was completely redone with in "ferrari magnolia". i had them replaced all fabric and carpet, including the headliner, firewall (behind the seats), and firewall shell with connelly leather....
actually, she has been home for over two weeks and has been in extreme makeover shop. it looks and drives like a new car.
yes, completed MAJOR..MAJOR service w/ all new tires. during the major service, anything that had to be replaced or recommended to be replaced or might as well replace....WAS replaced (including new aluminum pedals, new chrome shift knob is on the way).... i got carried away w/ the interior extreme makeover. in the end, i can't say it was a "bargain of the century deal" but everything is right about it. the engine operates like a brand new car and cosmetically, she is now in truly "concourse condition". me like it....(at least for today)
about two wks and a bit over $5k and worth every penny. his workmanship is of unparalled comparison to the original ferrari interior upholstery work.
Tom, Its absolutley beautiful. Where did you get the cover for the Targa. Mine is original and looks good but just doesn't function like it should. I guess it has shrunk a little. Any info would be appreciated. Gary
Great, great achievement. But one question comes to my mind: will you drive that beauty or is it destined to remain in "concourse conditions"? Ciao Eugenio
