The saving grace is Michael Mann. Of course he did the originals, but evidence of his movies suggest that cinematography should be excellent. --Dan
At least they kept Ferrari in the movie but what is the deal with the blue flames? A special hot Pursuit police exhaust sytem? HA! Thanks again Hollywood.
Apparently Tubbs is now shacking up with Trudy ??? I wonder if Gina and Switek will be back ? And they gotta bring back Izzy !!!
The cinematography of the trailer seems faithful to that of the original television show. Can't wait for more.
actually, F430's have been noted as "spitting out" blue flames on shifting...so its no hollywood special effects, but rather compliments of the good folks over at maranello http://antandpete.vault5.com/vidgum2005.asp?vid=http://videos.vault5.com/F430firebreathingdragon.wmv (vid of an F430 shifting in a tunnel, spitting out some fire, while chasing a carrera GT)
Miami Vice ruled my life in 1984/1989. My prayers have been heard.... Can't wait to see the movie. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Edward James Olmos played his character to perfection in the tv series, so I'll be curious to see who his replacement (if any) will be...
Will this movie be a hit? I don't care just as long as it in a theater near me. Oh yeah, where are they now... We all know that FNA gifted 2 'blk/tan '86 TRs to NBC studios that were later painted white. One was used for exterior shots of the car that was given away to a fan by the USA network and later ended up in the Swap Shop's auto museum in Florida. What ever happened to the car in the photo? This car had a few exterior shots where you could see the rear bumper still had black paint and the front spoiler was missing. Image Unavailable, Please Login
