Just had the guys from Premire install clear film protection on my 355 yesterday. It looks excellent and I can tell you, these guys worked thier collective rears off. I'm very pleased with the custom front bumper job. Practically invisible! No more need to worry about those pesky chips and pock marks from road gravel. I recommend Sam and his crew. They traveled from the bay area to Clovis to do my and my neighbor's car (06 Porsche 997, black). They didn't leave until nearly 8:30 and I know it was really late when they got back to their homes.

You know, I have been looking to put that stuff on my headlight covers where it dips down lower than the front bumper on the 328. For some reason dirt, stones, etc. seem to find their way to that part and cause pinhead sized chips. I don't know if it has to do with aerodynamics or that the slanted area of the headlight pretty much takes the road debris headon.

For those of who who understand my poor attempt of a description, bless you!!! ;-)

FYI - The guy said he would do that part of my headlights for $20...

They charge a little different depending on custom or pre-cut. I went with the custom bumper and am pleased that I did. Just send Sam a message and he will respond with a price quote. Try this web address. www.premiermobilegroup.com or just look them up on the member search. The screen name is "Premier"
    Good luck,

I am about to get these Clear film for my Testarossa as well. But, I still wonder if the edge of the film on the bonnet collect dust and that's where it's visible most...

How are things in Clovis and Fresno...? I finished shcool from CSUF in 91. Played a lot of golf over Brighton Crest, Washington Port, Riverside. My uncle owns Pacific Seafood over there. I heard Fresno growing fast. I would be nice to see what it's like nowaday...

Great to see Sam and his guys at it again. I've been praising their work for a long time, and I do agree that their work is absolutely incredible and flawless. Best work I've seen.

    BTW, great looking Murci.

Thank You.. I’m still kind of partial to the Gallardo but maybe that’s because I haven’t had a chance to drive her yet. :)

Things are great here in Fresno/Clovis. My brother lives up at Brighton Crest and my friend Patrick owns the course. Great golf and extended weather to play. I've had lunch at Pacific Seafood often. Great place with wonderful food. If you have been gone since 91, things have changed greatly. Now population is about 700K in the city. CSUF continues to play well in the big games (USC) and blow it in the little ones (Nevada, Louisana Tech). Some things stay the same!:)

I have used a 3M product distributed by XPEL Technologies, San Antonio, TX.
Its fairly simple to use, intricate cruves can be tricky but the film can definetly be done by a DIY'er.
Can be purchased pre-cut depending on car mfg or bulk, where you cut the length shape, etc.

For those even considering doing this yourselves, it is NOT a DIY project. For those who have seen our work in process knows that getting it looking good is all in the experience of the installer. If you are thinking about doing it yourself, then go with a multi-pc bumper kit offered by something like invincashield.com. If you are looking at getting it right, then have it done by a pro.

Certainly some may say it can be done, but how it looks is another story. Thanks to Supercharged and JSL for the write-up! We really appreciate it!

If your patient, good with your hands and steady with a blade. It certainly can be done by yourself.

"If your patient, good with your hands and steady with a blade. It certainly can be done by yourself." Yes, it can, but what will it look like after?

And also, if you were born a genius you could do it too. I've had it done by "pros" that were "certified" before I found Premier and they do not come close to the level of perfection they are at. With that said, why would anyone want to attempt such a duty when there are craftsmen like Premier around? Personally, the amt of money I will save by buying this stuff online is not worth it and I believe I'm speaking for most exotic owners as well. We could be spending our valuable time making more money, not trying to save it. I guess that is the difference between us

I have the 3M film on my car. Here is something to think about.

I work in an area where you must park on the street and bumper "kissers" are all to common. Even the slightest bump that you'd never notice will ruin the 3m film. I have two spots where someone gave me a kiss.

The product itself I highly recommend but you'll be upset if someone rubs it and crinkels the film.

I saw Richard Griot, the owner of Griot's Garage (www.griotsgarage.com) at a Ferrari Club event yesterday and he told me that they will soon be selling a new DIY "spray on" temporary clear protective product that is removable (just peel it off).

Sounds like it might be great for track days, long weekend driving events...to protect the front end from rocks, bug rash, etc.

    Great idea.

I wrote to Sam at Premier and he recommended NO film for the nose of my 328 - apparently the film can damage the paint on a 328 on removal. So, I'm quite interested in the Griot's product if it happens.
