Hello Everyone! I'm looking at purchasing my next TR soon. I've found a really nice car that appears to be Gray or a sorta Titanium color. The car is a 1989 model in excellent condition. I have asked the seller to look at the paint code tag but he apparently can't find it....yes...I did tell him where to look for it. From the pics he sent me the car looks very nice, but I would like to know what kind of silver/gray colors were available in 1989. Did they have Grigio Metallic then? Any pics or info. is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Does anyone know what paint codes existed for silver or gray cars? I'm currently looking at one to purchase in the near future. Here's another pic of a TR in gray or grigio or silver-ish or....?

I was really hoping that someone would have the paint codes and names available...is there a website I can check out...maybe redheaded.com?

Thanks Scuderia NoVA....they do show a lot of colors but not all of them unfortunately.

Jerrari: I'm 98% sure my old Testarossa is sold. It's been a very long hard road for me and that car...but I will still miss it. That car taught me almost everything I'd ever want to know about TRs. I'm ready for another one. Definately not black this time. For posterity I took a video of the car with the Borla exhaust, because I've never heard the sound of my car from the outside. Then last night over the course of about 4 hours I removed the Borla. I then video'd the car with open headers....sounded awesome! I then installed the factory system back on and video'd that too. So I have a nice comparison of the different sounds. Unfortunately I don't have the necessary hook-ups to download it to digital so I'm unable to share the fun with all of you.

I'm actually taking a slight loss on my TR, but the education I've gained is worth far more than a few grand. My car is what I'd qualify as a "driver" car and as such should only be worth about $35k if you listen to those who seem to constantly run down TR values. I'd sure like to know where these decent $35k TRs are...oh yeah...they are like that beat up TR currently on ebay! I'm getting quite a bit more than this often-quoted price for my beater TR.....still not what I'd like of course, but acceptable considering things.
