    Guys,

    Need some recommendations of a good wheel refurber.

    Need one wheel doing on the 360 and my neighbour wants 2 wheels done on his maserati.

    Im based in the north london/herts area.......

    Who's the wheel man to use????

    I've just received my refurbed Mondial T wheels (for my Mondial QV) from Pristine Wheels, - the local tyre place removed the old rubber, weights and valves.

    They came back in just over 1 week "as new" all boxed up.

    Pics attached are resized so maybe not the best.

    Those wheels look really good. Just had a look at the Prestine web site and what process did you have done? Were they powder coated and what was the cost? Regards, Terry

    I am not sure exactly what they do but one of the rears were scratched and chipped all around the edge. The fronts were terrible on the inside with tons of tar stuck all on the inside.

    I gave them a quick wash before sending them off, what came back was very impressive.

    My guess is 1/ Some kind of chemical clean, 2/sanding & filling with an alloy, 3/lacquering - polishing.

    Pristine will talk you throught the process I spoke to a Kieran there.

    Prices were approx £75/wheel +vat - I saved a bit by taking away the old tyres otherwise they will charge you for tyre disposal.

    Found an excellent company in Hemel. Was only about £35 a wheel and they did an A1 job.. 2 years on the wheel they did still looks new.

    Wow the wheels look really good. It's now how long they stay like it that shows how good there work really is. And watch out for kerbs ;)

    I have had my 3 piece wheels refurbed by diamond styling in the past.

    They are based in Ladbrook Grove (NW10) and their number is 020 8969 9690.

    Their work is outstanding.
