I found this in car papers, it says 305 kw (415 PS), and I meant 425PS??????? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The ROW owner's manual lists 305 Kw and the US manual lists 305 Kw as well as 409 bhp. All of this translates to 415 PS DIN. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I did too. It is also stated as 425 PS in the brochure. But, I don't believe any of these figures anyway. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 425 is also quoted with a lower weight... marketing literature... I believe it may be the marketing literature quotes the car in the markets where no cats are required. The cats add weight and reduce HP. Second theory is that the 425 is "dynamic horsepower" experienced when you're at speed... like 180mph... and you get a nice ram effect into the intake. The lesser number is bench HP... no ram air effect. Never heard any official explanation for the undeniable discrepancy.
What about at-the-wheel figure??? I'd guess 370 hp at the wheel is all it has. My skyline has 371.4 hp at the wheel, and it feels equally powerful at speed comparing to my CS.
