Mark, I like the tail light mod. Curious about the wheels...what is the difference in offset between those and stock. Those appear to stick out a bit more...particularly in the front.

I was a bit upset about the offset on the driver front. Not sure exactly what it is -- I'll get that data tomorrow, but there is about 1/8 an inch too much outward movement to the top of the wheels. I hope to have time soon to take it by mt local tire wizard -- Star Tire and have them either adjust the alignment/toe or shave it down just a bit to tuck it in the fender better. It's worse on the driver side than the passenger, so it might be 80% alignment.

Thanks for the comments about the tail light mod. I plan on focusing on the wheels, exhaust, intake and suspension this month moving to interior next. I'll post info on the stebro front exhaust mod in about 2 weeks.

It's still a work in progress for me. More soon...

    All the best!

    Mark

If anyone is interested, I used a local exotic car restorer on the tail lights. I'd be happy to PM his number to anyone if they want this change made.

How come I think the original tail light unit on the 456 is already the best there is for the 456????

The lights & Wheels are Beautiful. I thought about putting wheels on my 456. (the stock ones are too small) Yours is done right. I'm not a fan of lowering but gotta say it looks good!

Lewisville -- we've got about 7 acres in the middle of a neighborhood. That should explain the trees and such if that was the question. We were on Turtle Creek before the move. My wife is into horses (the kind with hooves, not tires) so we had to find more outdoor area than U.P. could provide.

I'll host a dinner here while the Italian car thing is going on in Dallas this fall if anyone is interested.

    Here are the wheels:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7981652328&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I'd recommend Highline Wheels to anyone. Communication was good, price was slightly high when you considered the wheels and tires and mounting and balancing and... I was so impressed with the look that I easily forgot about that and having them do all the mount/balance meant all I needed to do was jack the car up, pull out the air gun and put them on.

The tires are from them as well, but here's a link to the TireRack web site with the same make/model of tire:

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+T%2FA+KDW+2

I was concerned about the ride quality suffering after the change, but I found that the ride quality did not suffer it actually improved. Setting the suspension to H for hard now makes the car feel like I'd expect while the S setting for soft still feels a bit like a Cadillac DeVille. It's shocking how well they've engineered the suspension on this car and with the new wheels/tires you can really tell how good it is.

    Best of luck!

    Mark

Many thanks for the info. I am actually from HK and am looking at a 456M GTA here.

I love the setup you have for yours. But first I need to get the car from the dealer...

I will let you know how it goes...

    Thanks!

    Bince.

    Mark,

big improvement. I think the rears need a spacer though (30mm). The fronts look wider from the side angle you provided. I know where you can get them if you need a set. I had them on my 355 and the look was perfect. (Big rear - smaller front)
