how do i go about purchasing a zonda here in the states? I have a friend who would like to buy one.
Talk to a broker of some sorts that deals with importing Grey-Market cars, or call Pagani directly and say you would like to import a car for show purposes only. This would give you the ability to drive the car to shows without it being street legal in the US. I am not sure about the mileage limitation for show cars. I will try to see if i can find out more information for you. I could be completly off on the whole think but just what i would do knowing what little i do about cars.
I think his F-Chat name is Benedict, send him a PM. Also try checking with GREG G, he might have Benny's contact info.
the only way you can get one is with a show and display license which means max of 2k driving per year. thats all i know
They are not US legal. They are not show and display legal. The factory will be happy to sell you one that you can keep in europe. If you are a foreniger you can bring one in for a short time but it must be re-exported. Before you or your friend does something stupid contact the DOT. Go to their web site it's guite clear what you can and cannot do.
