I didn't say this on the other thread, as Rob wants it to be partipicants only. Honestly, I don't understand why you would take the 3K$ back from him as a refund. I would sue him. If what you say is all true, then Ben is committing rather unethical practices, to say the least. I would sue him on principle alone. Either way, good luck Noah.
Knee-jerk reaction is sue & make him pay. But, having been through the legal system I know it's very expensive & you have no way of knowing how it will outcome even if you are dead-sure you are right. Bear in mind the judge, jury, counselors and such do not want to be there and do not care about your cause or justice. they just want to go home. By taking the route he has, Noah shows he's a sharp cookie. Not mushy with milk. 1) He get's his money back 2) He doesn't pay legal fees which start at his first office visit which would undoubtedly be mroe than his repair bills 3) He eats his out-of-pocket repairs....but he's already absorbed them. 4) He stays in business and has no ill-will to contend with 5) He's brought this company into the light for this forum to see & judge. The same forum who is EWS's main client pool. Case closed. Kudos Noah.

Damn. Rob is taking his BAN thing hardcore. I was thinking of doing a show about automotive performance shops and other businesses in the car world that are notoriously bad but still in operation. You know, some kind of 60-Minutes-meets-AutoWeek kind of Exposé. I'd love to investigate Hennessey Motorsports... among others.
Wasn't the Lamarossa also covered by EWC? Although I think they sent the payment for the parts used in making the repairs directly to Bazooka and BandAid.
Congrats Noah! As you know EWC denied me a small claim, and it wasn't worth the effort for me, but I feel better knowing the system worked for you, and others can benfefit from our mistakes. So we live and learn.
