Jennie and I have arrived! Haven't seen Tillman yet. I figure the main thread will get enough attention, so we'll just post the Texans experience in Las Vegas here. Jennie and I are actually happy about our yellow '05 Mustang convertible. I like the new retro style and hopefully the weather will allow the top down. Not Ferrari fun, but still fun. There are a few Lambo's out front of the Paris. Up at the S.R. parking there are already about 20 Ferraris and 5 Lambos, including 2 F40's and a 275! I think for the weekend they are expecting 75+ exotics and almost 200 people. Not bad for something informal that got its traction on FerrariChat.com. Can't beat the price and I kinda like the freedom of the loose schedule. Anyway, we're in the room now so I can finish some work and catch up with FC. We'll be hitting a nice restaurant and play some cards late late. Car show tomorrow morning at the golf course. Sorry about the pic quality. I'm still struggling with night pictures. That's because you're a figment of my imagination, or maybe the other way around.... Actually, my flight leaves in 2 hours. No pics from me though, bastid carpet cleaners stole my digital camera
Damn, Tillman that sucks. Sorry to hear out that. Rob, looking forward to the rest of the photos. BTW, be sure Jennie doesn't become a slot jockey or bets the title to her 328.
Hi Wil ! Southwest Airlines ? Yeah but she may come out ahead ? Countach, Countach, Countach n White !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under low-light conditions, the iris is trying to let in the most light, and is susceptible to blurring from the slightest movement, without any real "shaking".
Good morning everyone! Just 9am here. Have reason to be in a good mood, not only did I sleep great, not only did Jennie have a Frappucinno and ham/cheese pastry waiting when I woke up, but last night Rob made a great attempt "breaking Vegas". Only played Black Jack 90 minutes, but gave it a nice run. Of course Vegas is laughing their ass off screwing me for every made up tax in the world on the rental and room. Farmer, the rental was only $75 a day. There are 4 different taxes (I swear!) and that might not even include sales tax. Total up to about 25% + $3. Here is the part I need help. I know insurance generally covers you in rentals. They have a $45 a day plan for full coverage. I knew not to do that, however, they have a $15 a day for "loss of use" insurance. They basically scare into you that if you don't get the $15 a day and anything happens to the car your fault, vandalism, or not that you would be responsible for the daily rental rate until they got the car back although your personal insurance would probably pay for the actual damage if your fault. Sounded fishy, but he asked what insurance I had and he said Farmers in Las Vegas would not cover something like this, how about David Farmers? Anyway, I really told him "you better be right or I will find you." What I was thinking is "you SOB, if you are lying to me, I'm going to find you and kick your teeth in." So do I have to kick some teeth in? Jennie is an easy date, all she has wanted to do is look at the fountains (Belagio is right across the street) and $100 to shop. Can't beat that for a 3 day escort! Spent that much in 15 minutes with Wolfgang... but anyway. Fountain in front of the Paris... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes ! Probably the only guy who wants to go back to the beast. I miss all the unrefined effort. On the subject of Rob's wallet - He still has not left Vegas. .....and Greyhound does have a route for economy travelers, going from Vegas to Dallas LOL.
I hope the guy has a good dentist. Your regular auto insurance liability coverage would *absolutely* cover a loss of use claim by the rental company, if a loss occurs while the vehicle is rented to you. Just like, if you were in a negligent auto accident with Joe Blow, Farmers would pay for Joe Blow's rental car, while his is being fixed. Loss of use is pretty much a given. Edit: and if you get your $15 back... bet it on black.
Ok, here's my superfly ride! (It's an "upgrade" from a Ford Taurus) Saw the Grand Canyon on the way in, holy dog that's a big hole-in-da-ground. There's a half dozen exotics in the garage already, ranging from a 430 to a Mondial 8 coupe. The rest are out at the photo shoot I guess. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Went out to the golf course this morning. It was supposed to go until noon, Jennie and I got there at 11:50 and everyone was already gone. We continued out 93 and both of us saw Hoover Dam for the first time. Actually a very cool trip and fun curvy hilly roads. On the way back stopped at Boulder City and had lunch with a few beers sitting outside. Arrived to the Paris garage about 3pm to find no less than 60 exotics including (4) F40's, the same 275, a black Enzo!, a black 430, and several CS's among every other model you can think of. Tillman is accounted for now. We then checked in and had the honor to meet the famous Pimp in person. Now will chill in the room until the reception tonight. Looks like a blast! Wish I could have made it out there... sounds like the Pimp has a good formula with this thing, I'm sure there will be future Rampages. Don't turn in that 'Stang without doing the walkaround with the rental agency! There's a NASCAR joke here, but I just can't think of one: Image Unavailable, Please Login
That second picture is Robs mouth opening for more beer. Or NNO's......nevermind. My brother in Vegas said he's seeing Ferraris all over the place.
Ryan, Jennie responds... "Gross", but not in a mean way. Tonight was ON ON ON!!! Reception at Margaretville. At least 150+ people there. Talked to no less than a couple dozen FChat users. In typical fashion they were all trying to get me drunk. It was a great event and shortly Jennie and I are headed up to the FChat "suites" for more debauchery with the likes of Bobafett, RedHead, Vincent355, Muricelargo, Ryalex, and many others like Carbon that should join us shortly. In a drunken stupor pimp hat worn I did some more damage within 20 minutes "breaking Vegas". Pictures are Belagio fountain, FChat'ers gone wild, PimpDaddy himself, and first public displayed kiss with Jennie.
