Ouch!!! My car was caught in a hail storm in Mississippi and now has about 50 dents all over. Car is going to be stripped to metal and repainted. I have talked to a couple of shops here and although they claim to have done this work before, seem a little unsure to me. I know a couple of places out of state but given the work I would like to keep it in Nola so I can keep an eye on it and follow the progress. Any suggestions?

    Chris,

I gave Jim Lindsey the name of the guy that did paintless dent removal on my 308, did you check him out?

I'd go the paintless dent removal way first if not give John Catreras (sp?) a try at Riverroad Collision. He has a Testarossa and when I have my 348 painted I will use him

Kenny Allen does excellent work without BS. He's worked on more Ferrari bodies locally then anyone else.

I've always feared getting out in a car and running into a hail storm. No doubt about it, Kenny Allen!

    Hope it turns out well.

I take all my cars to Ferrari of Houston. They have a new 5 million dollar body shop, and do better than stock paint and repairs. Speak to Steve Egyd. Their not cheap but they are worth every penny. Also, having factory authorized work is better in the long run.

If I had a 360 or other all alumiun car, I would definitly take it to Steve in Houston. If I needed a new windshield, I'd take it to Steve. If I needed body work done on a 308, BB or TR and I lived n New Orleans, I'd take it to John Cutrera 504-733-0787.
If I lived in Baton Rouge, I'd take it to Kenny Allen.

My 2 cents, And since that it all I've got in my pocket, I'd better get off this webpage and go sell somthing. HAHA

Ship it up to Bo Pirkle, 770.939.6982shop or 770.356.1790cell. You make get the job done cheaper, but it can't be done better than Bo !

That is true- never heard anyone complain about the quality of Bo's work. He's one of the few people who increases the value of a Ferrari since he painted it. My 328 was painted by him. No clear coat and mirror smooth.

I have heard some comments about him being rather slow about completing projects. FOA sends all thier body work to him I believe.

Bo is a little slow...but, will work a little faster if he knows he will be paid in cash rather than check. And you need to ask yourself, do you want a quick job or a good job?
