    Awesome. . . . just awesome.

About 20 years ago, he wasn't really well known yet. I remember Gator LaCoste was more popular than Polo RL, well, at least for polo shirt.

I cannot achieve his partial collection Ghost listed in smaller scale models. I'm considering Boston visit just to see these cars in person.

Hope someone nearby will post how they are displayed.

    Nice stuff.

If I recall correctly and one of the vintage guys can correct me if I am wrong, the Ferrari collector community wasn't to happy with what he did with his '58 250 TR. If he's the one I'm thinking of, he took one of the last unrestored TR's that wasn't in bad shape, but it had some patina, stripped it down to nothing, built it back up, and basically made a lawn ornament out of it.

But still a great collection, I'm sure there's plenty more we are not seeing.

Is that 61 TR the 1961 Le Mans winner? The next to last front engine car to do so?

Check this thread out, especially if you want to attend the show with the FCA and enjoy a private reception and curator-directed viewing the event (weather permitting, we'll have a parade down Huntingdon Ave. too).

Pathetic, I bet all his cars have less than 100 miles on them.

How about his McLaren F1? Surely he drives that?

I went to that same show in the Lex Ave Armory. That Bugatti is stunning, it really need to be seen to be appreciated, the riveted seem running down the middle of the entire car is amazing. What craftsmanship.

    RL certainly does have taste.
