    Was driving through Putney today, and saw a red 355 heading towards me. Gave a flash of the lights and quick wave of recognition, as I always do when I pass another Ferrari. Then I realised my fatal mistake....

    IT WAS A CRAPPY MR2 WITH 355 BODYKIT.... oh god what had I done.... given him huge bragging rights to tell all his mates tonight how a real Ferrari owner thought his car was a 355......

    Due to my obvious inability to tell the difference between a real Ferrari and a replica, I am went outside to see my car to make sure I hadn't bought a replica by mistake. I am still not 100% sure, so took a picture of my engine bay and was hoping another 355 owner could confirm this is what they have in the back of their car?? ;)

    What is this "Toyota" labelling all about. Also I only count 4 cylinders in my car, where do Ferrari hide the other 4?? I assume somewhere nearer the front of the car, to improve weight distribution?? :D :D :D

    I remember a similar thing when we did the Leeds Drive out. We were all parked near the town hall with the group of Rarris, Lambo etc and a "355" was waiting at the traffic lights opposite. We assumed that he would pull over or acknowledge us. Instead he went right to the other side of the road and hid in the traffic, that turned out to by a Toyota 355 as well!!

    There is no shame really just think of it this way: a ferrari owner had given a thumb up to a ferrari replica owner saying he had done a good job on his imitation.
