How I wished I lived in Southern California! Did not realise everything from Ford Cortina MkI's to Mustang's turned up. Even one of those Austin Healey's.
The DB9 as always looks fantastic. Do you know if the white/green Cortina is a true Lotus Cortina ? They are pretty rare over here, and that one with all the Californian sunshine looks in excellent condition. The dark coloured one looks neat aswell |

This is my first post here, so I just wanted to say hi to everybody and happy New Year too. I've been going to CC pretty much every week since September '03. This is like Heaven on Earth for a kid who grew up dreaming about the cars I saw in C and D and R & T every month! I've been posting under the same handle since October of this year on ************** and just happened upon this site a couple of weeks ago. I don't own an F-car yet, but I used to work at MotorWerks of Barrington outside of Chicago and got to drive a few. My wife's boss has a black on black '99 F1 355 spider in his collection that he took me for a ride in last year and that's the last ride I've had. Someday, hopefully soon, I'll be living the dream like some of you. I'll probably repeat most of this in the new members area, but since I live in HB and spend most of my time on this site in this forum, I figured I'd do it here first. Hopefully I'll be able to put some faces to the names I see here soon. Speaking of which, it was nice meeting you this morning, Jay. Jay took some great shots so there's not much to add, but I thought I'd share a couple of mine as well. Enjoy, and Happy 2005!

Not sure who's 348tb is shown in the above pictures... but FYI: The wheels are on backwards. The "fat" side of the spoke should roll forward -- it seems counterintuitive to the apparant aerodynamics, but that's how they're supposed to be mounted.
Get 'em swappped, side-to-side (assuming the tires don't require remounting) and you'll be set. Best Regards, Daniel |
