Anyone know what the hell these wires are and why they're cut?

    Found these behind the cover behind the passenger seat. Was like this when I bought it. I do have a bunch of 02 codes happening that you can see in my other thread. Don't know if that's related, but I doubt it as the wires have been like this the whole time and the codes are new.

    Can you trim back the shielding and match the wires by color and reconnect them?

    I'm sure I can reconnect them but want to know what they are first just in case they were cut some for some weird reason.

    By the look of the wires in the picture, looks like they were cut by accident. Anyone who would cut those for a reason would have shielded them. Are you sure they were not chewed by a squirell or rodent of some kind?
