Don't know if this is a repost, but Michael Anthony's '84 Boxer is up for sale. He's the ex bassist for Van Halen and now plays for Chickenfoot. Another celebrity owned Ferrari. It's a little spendy as far as boxers go, but it is apparently is concourse condition and comes with a set of one off Boyd Coddington wheels. No, I 'm not affiliated with this sale at all, but am a Van Halen fan.

I think over a year now. I admit the car looks very nice but they are way off on the price. The car is fairly close to me, I keep meaning to drive over to see it.

Hope he gets his price, but seems mighty ambitious considering the current market. High tide floats all boats, and, let's face it, Boxers are a bargain at current prices.

The interior looks nice, even though not perfectly factory.

Big Tex, it was fairly common to replace the side repeater with a rewired, rectangular running light so as not to put additional holes in the clamshell. I agree, it looks funny but it was one way to satisfy the DOT w/o extra cutting.

Anthony sold it in August of 2008. This is the second or later owner.

How come it says "84 Ferrari Testarossa" on the CA BAR label? Was it a common trick to get it more easily?

I never thought I would think that an '80s dashboard looked vintage...

Damn, what year is it? I must be old.

This car was registered as US market Ferrari and no longer a Grey market car. Interesting !
They removed the BBi logo on rear bonnet which would probably help in the inspection of the exterior and the interior logo on the dash could represent anything.

Speedo is in mph and says 30,300. Did they mix mph and km on the same speedo or does the car actually have 30,300 miles, not km?

Most "federalized" boxer speedos have just had a face plate change to show MPH. The internals (including odometer) are still unchanged and show kilometers.

I guess he won't be carrying the spare tire with him any time soon!

Not that it's much loss-- I left the spare tire in the garage long ago-- that way I have a decent trunk.
