    Hello all,

after two postings in the Collectables, and one posting in the technical section it came to my mind, that I missed to introduce myself. So allow me a few words about me.
I already followed the 'old' FerrariChat some years ago and posted several times. Then there was a longer pause due to building a new home and moving but recently I rediscovered this great forum here and would like to participate again.
I'm in Germany and own a '80 carbed 308 GTB since 1996. After restoring a '72 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV ( Bertone Coupé) which I still own, I fulfilled my dream, which began in 1977, when I saw a 308 GTB for the first time in reality.
Most of the maintenance and repairs I do myself. During this time I had a complete suspension rebuilt, repeated routine maintenance - in the beginning I drove around 10.000 kms per year.
And many, many smaller or bigger repairs. The technicians on this forum will know what I'm talking about :)
The only thing an official Ferrari workshop had to perform was when in 1999 the lower cambelt drive began leaking severely. Since this is an engine out job - definitely on my drysump car - and being at my former home I had too little space, I entrusted a Ferrari shop with this task.

For completeness a few words about my person. I'm 41 years old. I'm a mechanical engineer running my own small business since 9 years. Together with my wife, who supports all automotive things limitlessly, I live in the outer southwest of Germany in a small town ( approx. 10.000 residents ) close the french and swiss border.

That's it for the moment. Did I forget something ? Probably yes.

    Best Regards

    Martin

    Hi Jeff,

we already had some business via the Owners Website and I was absolutely happy with your service, the parts, the shipping, etc.
And I recommended your supply to a friend - Robert from Nuremberg - who recently ordered his 'beloved' 308 GTB one pipe exhaust system.

    Best Regards

    Martin
