    Community can nominate and then vote on an Ambassador of the Year and winner will receive a Lifetime Rossa and be recognized in all future votes.

    Although this is the first year we've done it I really consider Jedi the first recipient and he's already received his Lifetime Rossa. So if OK with him we'll say he's the recipient for 2010, I don't think anyone can argue with that. :)

    throw out nominations for a week and then the mod team will narrow list down for a vote that we'll add to this thread. Honorary users are already recognized, so exempt.

    In my mind ambassador doesn't have to be any one thing, user can have contributed in multiple areas or a few. I guess simple question would be who is good for the community overall by their actions and behavior? Thanks.

    all retired mods receive the Lifetime Rossa, but I think you should still be able to nominate them. lets say they have to be a retired mod though, no current mods.

    Fair enough, that helps narrow the field. Lots of good, deserving members around here.

    I'd like to nominate GrayTA. When I think of "FerrariChat Ambassador," I think of some that a) Wears his Ferrari passion on his sleeve and bleeds Rosso Corsa, b) conducts him/herself in a way that makes us all proud to call him our own, and c) always makes a positive contribution to the board; polite and helpful to all.

    As I said, there are lots of folks on here that fit that description. However, I'm putting up Patrick for the nod.

    It's unfortunate that Terry left us; I think he'd be deserving of such a title (if he hadn't left). Current members who haven't yet defected and should be honorary are toggie and Newman. They never insult other members who seek to learn, they're always offering advice and/or wisdom, and they just know so much about so much. They clearly add value to the community.

    Although he is listed as a consultant, I would say Steve Magnusson. He is very helpful with his input for those of us who work on our cars or need information about the repairs.
