Just got back from the Paris Auto Show plus detour to Zurich, Maranello and Stuttgart, Germany. Just outside the factory were a couple of finished F430 Spiders. Unfortunately it was early in the AM so too dark for pics. Speeding ticket in France, 90 euros, 171 kms in a 130.....damn. Enjoy!!!!!

Looks like a bunch of fun... I go to all the US autoshows, and love them, but there are so many great cars at the European autoshows. Oh well, great pictures, looks like you had fun. I am suprised the cops let you take a picture with them, I don't think that would happen in the US, not in New York anyway.

Nice photos. That 430 is really growing on me. I'm going to have to find a way to steal, er buy one someday.

The Alfa looks pretty good too.

Welcome back - sounds like a good "car" trip.

I second the comments on both the Alfa and the Pug - Peugeot has a lot of '60's F-car design cues. Is it a Pininfarina design?

I remember when Peugeot came out with the 406 coupe that it looked a lot like a baby F-car.

    Thanks for the pix!!

    Cheers

Anybody seen / noticed the new Alfa ads in the euro mags...they are all shot in LA around town and at the new (Mickey Mouse) concert hall downtown that Gery designed...

Hows that for a rub your nose in it...can't buy the cars here but all the ad work is done here / cars shipped in just for the photos then sent back.

I'm still looking for a 196 like the one I saw in Zurich...19" wheels, lowered, silver/ red leather...nice car for LA...

Awesome pics, I really like the 430 engine shot and the Peugot, reminds me of a Z8.

Can anyone tell what the 3rd car down is in the shot of the 2 430's rears? 430 spider maybe, or I am I just being overly optimistic.

Really nice pictures. I love that Alfa (isnt it the 8C Competizione?) are they ever going to make it? They have been showing it off forever now.

It seemed more solid bordering on a more beefy/clunky feel :)

That was a 360 Spyder. However, just behind where those cars were, were 2, F430 Spiders just sitting there early the next morning. I saw them from a different vantage point. Unfortunately it was 6:00 AM and too dark for pics. We had to take off so we couldn't wait till it got lighter. BTW, the top on the F430 Spider is the same as the 360 Spider.

    Here's another shot.......if you look closely it's a 360 Spider.

thanks, just out of my adolescent curiosity, are those turnstiles all that are keeping you from getting to the cars, is this a guided tour your on, the pic leads me to believe that the cars arent overly visible from anywhere.
