They have a Ferrari part #, but I don't recognize them as stock wheels. Anyone know? The part # is 149552 for the front & 149553 for the rear.

512TR (optional....all special Japanese editions had these wheels)
    348 (very very rare option)

Fronts also work all around on a 328GTS (ABS HUB 88.5+).
The Fronts also work on the fronts of a 456/550/575, however the rears will not most likely.

Jerry, these were on the 348 competizione and as Auraraptor mentioned an option for the 512 TR as well. They are 18x8 and 18x10.5 I believe.

I would love some of these for my car but not just yet.....$$$$

    Cheers

    Jerry,

The car looks absolutely fabulous with those wheels! Very nice choice. How do you like the Tubis?

The Tubi makes me wonder how anyone could own a Ferrari & not upgrade the exhaust. The sound makes the driving experience 10x greater.

I agree. I just installed my Tubi on the new 328. For some reason it sounds even louder on this one than on the last car. Not that I'm complaining... :)

Jerry - those wheels look fantastic on the TR. I know you were looking a several wheels but these are just a great choice.

What tires did you end up going with? I assume you will be driving a bit more with new tires/Tubi etc?

I'm about 70% for going to CC tomorrow right now - love to see the TR if you're gonna be along. Might tip me towards 100%!!

Give us a bit of driving impressions with the new tire/wheel combo when you get a chance - I know when I put the new tires on my 348 (to replace 7 year old fronts) it made a massive difference.

    Cheers

I will definitely being going on the FDC drives now!

I think I will be at CC on Saturday - love to cya there.

I have another thread with pics in the classic section.

Here are the stats of the rims / tires / spacers :

Here are the vital stats :

They are found under Ferrari part number 149552 for the front wheel and 149553 for the rear.

The wheels are made by Speedline and are 18", compared to the stock 16".

The tires are Michilin Pilot Sports and are :

    Rear : 295/35/18
    Front : 235/40/18

I got them brand new off ebay from this company (Dennis McCann) :

    http://allferrariparts.com/parts_list.cfm

I got front and rear spacers from Hill Engineering :

    http://www.customferrariparts.com/homemainferrari.htm

Click on "wheel spacers" on the left margin. He has a set for this - The four spacers and 20 lug bolts. I can't say enough good things about the quality of his parts - The spacers were machined to perfection.

I'm not sure - I bought the 512TR to Testarossa kit from Paul hill that includes the bolts & spacers. Here was the description from his site :

    WS-KIT-01 - 512TR Wheels to Testarossa. £280.00

Comes complete with 2 pairs of spacers and 20 bolts to fit 512TR wheels onto the 5 bolt hole fixing Testarossa cars.

Wow, thanks. I'm surprised they are your favorite as I rarely even see them on another F-Car. Only in the few pics chatters posted above.

I like them a lot - Kind of a cross between 512TR wheels and 288/F40.

Thanks - I was really happy that I was able to update the look of the car while still staying with stock rims.
