Lamborghini Owner Destroys his car

Apparently wasnt happy with Lambo's "service".

I'm sure it will eventually be rebuilt & sold on Ebay, with a clean title.

 

It's nice to see Lamborghini getting back to hand-beaten body panels.

It's not the first time I have heard of lousy service from Lambo. A friend of mine took them to court over his Diablo. Two years later, he signed an agreement not to talk about it and walked away with a check for half his purchase price, plus he got to keep the car.

I think this guy cost Lambo more in bad publicity than it cost him. He probably gets a tax writeoff, probably doesn't care about the money, and probably has other nice cars. How many wealthy Chinese buyers will choose other cars over a Lambo now? Warranty and service are HUGE components in a decision to buy large-ticket items in Asia.

That was one of the most incredibly stupid things I've ever seen. OK, if it's bad or you're unhappy with it then sell it cheap or give it to charity but to destroy it was just plain stupid. What an arrogant thing to do. Sorry, no respect for that one.

 

Looks like a PR stunt by all the guys in jumpsuits helping him out. Maybe his wife got it from her lover or his a devote tifioso?

 

Did anyone mention if the car was paid for or not?

 

I remember when I was a little kid and there was a 1958 Buick @ a carnival. We got a sledgehammer and had 3 shots for a buck. This guy missed out on making a few bucks...

 

Seems completely rational to me. If you are not happy about something, just destroy it. I wonder if he has dogs or cats?

If so, I'll bet they are well behaved or dead.

 

All their doing is taking the car apart so they can reverse engineer it and sell a knock off for the half the price.

I actually think its brilliant.... good for him to have the balls to do that to his lambo.
It got the attention of all of us and loads of others...
If he had donated it it would have never got this kind of exposure....

You'd figure it'd have been beaten & damaged more, but those sledge hammers were probably Harbor Freight quality. The official report list only one word under description of damage: Godzilla

As pointed-out on YouTube, the negative attention cost Lambo significant. My first thought was, didn't Audi get all the bugs out....but seeing this video definitely makes ya think twice. Do you really want to buy a car from a company that another owner was so upset about? Impact achieved.
