Thanks for the advice on getting a new steering wheel for the TR! The original one is pretty big & thin. I love the feel of the new one.

Cool Jerry! A HUGE difference in the way the car feels and drives right? It's amazing how different the car will feel. The older style TR wheels were so hard and uncomfortable. The new MOMO will make you feel like you got new shocks on the car! Enjoy! :)

Nice - didn't notice the new wheel on your shift lock thread. Looks like you are accessorizing....I'm thinking of trying one of the steering wheel spacers from Hill on my car so I can lean back a bit.

    Cheers

Great Jerry! Had momos on about 3 of my cars, and I love them. I always had the 320mm, made driving feel so much better!

Now make a thread that says "Ryan was right" and post some pictures with new wheels. ;)

    *still hoping*

WoW! that is a big difference, it looks square and really unconfortable.

what is the driving experience wiht the old wheel? does it slip, hard to make it turn?

    congrats on your new wheel

    George.

    Hi George-

The old wheel was big (think bus) and too thin.

The new wheel feels much more comfortable and turns are much easier - Especially at slow speeds where the lack of power steering is really noticed the most.

I am too dumb to know better than Ferrari.

Driving less than 12 cylinders is stupid.

Ferrari knew better also - They changed the wheel for the 512TR. :)

My M3 has a similar steering wheel. Extremely comfortable. I like it a lot.

    Thanks.

    Now for the problem.

I won that shift gate contest & put it on last night to take some picks for the thank you thread to Paul Hill. Somehow between last night & this morning, the keys fell into a gigantic black hole & I can't find them for the life of me. I spent 3-4 hours looking for them today......

    Talk about garage queen!

Don't forget to inflate the bubble Jerry. :D

In all seriousness, hope you find your keys soon. :) 3 years ago, my mom dropped her chain (diamond/gold expensive) between the seat and handbrake in one of my Lexus. To this day, I haven't been able to get it out. I promise to take the center tunnel out to find it, but just haven't had any time. The car has been driven 0 miles in 3 years and is just sitting there. I can't sell it, because she has to have her chain first. *sigh*
