Great pics Tony! I have my Blazer, tie, Oxfords and Panama hat ready for tomorrow. Pit pass and lunch ticket care of Clive Beecham, owner of SWB 2375GT. Should be a fantastic day!

Gorgeous cars. One question though, I never understood why they put an x of what appears to be electrical tape on the headlights or fog lights. What purpose does this serve?

So the glass from the lamps doesn't go all over the track in the event of a crash.

Well i talked to Carlos a few times at the TDF, Dijon and Spa..but he probably wont remember me ..It was more like " i love your cars , your driving style ( hes always sideways with his 250 TR )...Im also Brasilian...etc..

Didnt have the chance to talk with Peter Hardman @ Spa 2003 but saw his driving Harry Laventis P3..He was flying under the rain !!

I'm currently trying to remember how to tie a bow-tie so I can turn up in a dinner jacket for tomorrow. I didn't think we needed seperate paddock passes though? (Had a 'team' armband on Friday, but not tomorrow).

That looks like a different 275 to the one I saw on Friday in the first photo Tony, maybe I'll see a third tomorrow...

Can anyone tell me one way or the other whether we'll need paddock passes tomorrow, or whether our general tickets will get us in providing we're dressed 'correctly'?

Think you need passes or armbands to enter where cars are being prepared.Otherwise there is a general public area that goes all around the outside of paddock/garage area.

These pictures are great! They remind me to go again next year. This time I couldn't make it and instead went to the Ferrari Racing Days at the Nürburgring. Since I'm a classic Ferrari fan that really was a disappointment. So next year it's going to be the UK again. No more Nürburgring for me!

Yeah, we suffered the general public area for an hour or so until I ran into my friends who gave us 'Team' armbands :).

Not many photos of track action, I'm afraid, couldn't see. Hopefully one of the grandstand boys will post some. Here's some photos of car-park spots. Second F40 in 3 days for me, what a lucky boy. (The last photo is the F40 VIN etc for those who like that sort of thing).

How's that? When I went in 1999 you only had a picked fence all around the track and you could take good race pictures anywere. Have they changed that?

While I thoroughly enjoyed Monterey, these photos make me wish I could have gone to Goodwood as well. Nice event, nice photos!
