    That looks really sharp, much better than the slatted cover.

    However, with only the venting along the sides of the glass, are there any issues with cooling of the engine bay?

    I've had no problems with overheating. To be honest the rear vents are where most of the heat seems to escape, which is the same on the covered version. The glass does get "warm" after a long run, but nothing to bad.

    factory option a litlle over 4000 as an add-on a little over 11,000!!!

    Yup... It's been an option since the begining but they were held up on production. +/- 10K option.

    I've not heard of anyone offering it as an after market option, but i dont see why that would be such a problem.
