The Ferrari Club of America will have a huge display at this show. Currently we have 11 cars confirmed including a F-40 and a F-50 and a 599GTB. I am looking for some specific cars to fill out our group. I am looking for any "Enzo" era cars, a 308 carb or injected or both,a 348 spyder or coupe or both, a 430 coupe and a 16M, a 550 and 575, a California and of course a 458. If you have any of these cars or have a desire to be with other car owners at an incredible show with your car please contact me at [email protected]. I have secured the best spot for showing our cars. They will be on the grass with the pond and fountain in the background.

We of course will have the FCA tent, refreshments and chairs and these will be under the shade trees. If you want to show your car this may be the best show to do so this year.
    Thanks.

Thanks to the folks who responded. I am still looking for a 348 Spyder, a 550 or 575 a 430 coupe, a 16M, a Boxer and a Dino. We now have 13 fabulous Ferraris and the Enzo may still be available for the show-details are currently being worked out.
If you have one of these cars or want to bring out your Ferrari please contact me for the details and information.

    Also no Fiero Ferraris accepted.:)

Received an invitation in today's email. Lots of classes with ribbon awards listed. Several "exceptions" rules, along with:

    4. Kit cars/reproductions are welcome at the event but not eligible for class win or Best of Show
    (Guess they learned!)
    and
    6. Please, no music from show cars or sponsor booths

    :D

I will sign Bonnie Blue up for the show.

Thanks to all of you who have contacted me.

Here is the updated list for the show

    Enzo Era Cars

    275GTS
    330GTC
    330GT2+2
    512BBI Boxer
    308GTB

    Ferrari Super Cars

    F-40
    F-50

    1990s and 2000s Ferraris

    328GTs
    Mondial
    348TS
    348TB
    348 Spyder
    F355GTB
    F355GTS
    F355 Spyder
    F360
    F430 Spyder
    F512m
    599GTB
    California

This is now 20 on the list. How about one of you guys that owns a 16M-there is a yellow, red and black one in Dallas that I know of-there would be no excuse of trees because we won't be in an area that has a lot of them. How about a 430 Scuderia there are three or four of them in Dallas.
I am working on a field placement list now and I would really like to see 25 cars on the field-that would fill our display area up quite nicely.
I can make this real easy for some of your fence sitters; You can show up at 11AM I will have your place ready you can park your car and then leave at 4PM. We will have refreshments, a tent with shade, chairs and you can see some absolutely fabulous cars on the rest of the field for nothing. What a deal-eye candy and exercise all for only 20 bucks. What do you say.
Please contact me if you intend to have a enjoyable day in the park with your car.

There are some people that are bringing 2 cars!!!

Last time I had a car in a how was 1998! Hope my car does okay this time... ! Judged by participants? Any hints on how I should show the car (not being a car show person).

My car has made exactly 3 excursions since the completion on an 8 year restoration. 2 trips to cars and bikes, and once for dinner at Fearing's... This will be its fourth...

Bob, honor to have you on FerrariChat! I believe you use to have a 550, we talked about it at some race. Your Miura will speak for itself. Some extra motivated people do a little plaque or billboard with information about the model and in your case the restoration pics and process would be interesting. The additional info gives you brownie points with the judges.

Not sure how formal the Autos in the Park judging is, but when there are official judges they look for originality and completeness (books, tool pack, etc).

Here are the FCA judging techniques which have been adopted by most other clubs and events. http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/concours_guidelines.cfm

I see now this show is participant voting, so usually presentation (and how many friends you have voting) wins out over originality.

There have been a couple of cancellations and a couple of additions so the list is pretty fluid at this point. Also some people have said that if it is real hot they won't show, so I cannot control that aspect of the weekend.
There will be official Ferrari license plate blanks available to cover your plate with out removing it. This should eliminate the previous problem with photographed plates and then follow up letters.
I think we will have a Dino on the field with us, I have pretty much given up on the Daytona, the Enzo is 50/50, but we will have a great display of Ferraris providing the heat is not too high.
