What is your opinion? Is this a good idea, I am thinking of doing it on a Grigio car. I saw a green 360 CS done by the factory and it looked very nice. But is it a good idea? Anyone have any pics they can post?

I think it will look VERY nice. I have some pics of body-color grills, but none in any grigio color. BTW, which grigio are you thinking... alloy, titanio, or ingrid?

fwiw, even if it is the body color, it won't visually match the body's color because of the perforation (unless the body is black, of course).

If you get the Challenge Grill, leave it black, if you want body-colour, take the standard panel, unless you don't have a CS. Body-coloured Challenge Grills never match the rest of the car completely.

    Just my 2c.

Leave the grille black, this will look the best imo. For sure on a grey car. I saw some painted grilles a while back, but to me it looked kind of cheap. It is not a 100% match with the rest of the car.

    I'd definitely leave it black.

I know that hot air is more efficiantely evacuated from the engine bay using the challenge grill but if you're not racing, i'd simply sell the challenge grill and mount the original item.

It defeats the purpose of having the grill in the first place.

I think it would look fantastic. I personally like the monochromatic effect of the painted panel rather than the black challenge grill. If you decide to do it, definitely post the pics!

My buddy did it on his rosso corsa 360 and it looked weird, he ended up paiting it back to black. It cost a few bucks to go through with it but I think eventually you come back to the black challenge grid. They were meant to be black, like the F50, F355, Enzo and the 360s.

Getting the quality og finish right would be a *****. An almost flat black is easy...and does not have to "match" or have the same "quality" as the rest of the paint.
