I just discovered that my old 308 is for sale! I haven't seen the car since I sold it almost seven years ago to local guy. Guess I'll have to stop by and check it out for old time's sake. http://www.parkplaceltd.com/inventoryDisplay.aspx?s=used_detail&year=1983&make=Ferrari&model=308%20GTSi%20QV&inv=282&vin=ZFFMA13A0D0046587&total=3&pos=3¤t=1&size=50#s=sp&dir=back&inv=282&vin=ZFFEW58A050144462&pos=1&tot=3 It was the LOUDEST Ferrari I've ever owned. I had test pipes and a Tubi on it when I owned it and I put the cats back in when I sold it. Totally quieted it down. Here's an old dyno run of it screaming at 8K shifts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z45rb9iA_CQ
It was for sale less than a year ago remember...or maybe it's been for sale for almost a year if it's the same person??? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=226575
Nice color combo. Are those BBS wheels on it, perhaps like these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190341200744
Similar style of wheel. The BBS ones on my former car has smaller center caps like a Ferrari wheel, not the large lug nut cover caps like those eBay wheels. Here's some old photos of the car/wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw this car at PP a few months ago when I was shopping. Love the color although I wasn't too crazy about the gold BBSs. The engine bay was clean enough to eat off of. The guys at PP were not open to a test drive or even starting it to hear it run so I moved on. They said the paint was original but there was evidence of repaint. Great dyno video!
