Come to think of it... if you're seriously looking for sponsorship, would it be a good idea to set up your own website for the P4/5 Competizione so that you can control the release of information?

(I'm still not even halfway through this thread for the P4/5 yet!)

All the best,
Andrew.

As I've said this car will not race under NART banner. The NART rendering was done by Michael on his own a while ago and was simply his fanciful idea as to how the car could look long before I seriously began investigating the possibility of building it.

I do think Michael has mad skills.
You can read Italian?

Fantastic Jim.

Will it be built off a FXX? Or something newer?

Just to stay on track.

P 4/5 Competizione would be built on a Ferrari Chassis and be powered by a Ferrari V 12.

She would not be Enzo/FXX/MCC based.

Our first race would be the 24 Hours of Nurburing.

She would run under my Families Scuderia Shield not NART's.
(Scuderia SG) (Cameron-Glickenhaus)

She would remain in her Sponsor livery and could run additional races. When her racing days are done she'd visit many events.

Once again this is dependent on obtaining sponsorship.

I remain hopefull.

Ultimatecarpgae are reporting it will be powered by a 333sp engine!

Jim, are there many spare engines floating around? How easy/hard will it be to source parts for the engines? What about technicians?

It also mentiones an existing rolling chassis too. Dare i say F430 or 458 since you have already said it won't be Enzo/FXX based?

As soon as details are finalised I'll let people know.

Best

This is fantastic news. Congratulations Jim on this undertaking. The Nurburgring 24 hours is a tough race.

I wonder if this should all be in a seperate thread. The P4/5 Competizione thread.

The Competizione will anyway be a totally different car to your P4/5 "stradale" apart from the sihlouette.
Jim, your thoughts?

Jim's stated that it'll have a V12-- so my money would be Glickenhaus-ified 599. Doubt he wants to redesign the 430 or 458 chassis. Too difficult and costly.
