Who or what is GP Legends? Got a website?

Nice collection. Although I prefer not to have more than one Schuey. Nothing personal, I just think diversity is more fun. Hard challenge btw with a team that is almost as constant in its driver lineup as Mc Laren. But luckily there are the test drivers...

    I got them from www.grandprixlegends.com or www.diecastlegends.com

They are a UK company who are great and have some unique items and signed models. Lots of Ferrari special editions (I'll post some tonight). They advertise in Autosport a lot.

In 1:18 F1, I only have Schuey, just to narrow my collecting some. There are about 15 Mattel and about 5 Minichamps. But I have ordered the Fisichella and Raikonnen 1st Win models.

I've got one question are the shark grills open / or are they painted black or black stickers?

They aren't open, but they are raised and shaped, with the openings painted black. Not just painted on.

I never thought the shipping was too much. I think around $20 for a 1:18 model. But I only get cars from them if no one in the states has it. The packaging is always very good. I continue to use them since thier customer service is so good. If the shipping is a little more, than it is worth it, but I will try to order a bunch of things together to combine the shipping.

You can always email them from the website and ask exact costs.

Thanks for the foto's rr1973, but I am still not convinced of a Ferrari 1:18 with open sharks :(

I haven't seen one on the internet which was open :(

They seem to be all painted or with some stickers

Which one are you going to? If it is the one near Boston, you need to call and get directions. It is hidden in an industrial park.

I just bought another F1-2003 GA called Michael Schumacher - 999 points. Has anyone seen this one? It does have the 2003 markings and shark vents (molded in, but openings are painted.) And it has the weathered raced markings and fist in the air. Looks a lot like the 2002 5 GP Championships, but it is different. And it is legit - special markings on the box and background. I found this by chance.

It does bother me that there is no list of what Mattel has released. Every now and then one of these odd ones pops up. Like this one:

...and welcome to the board. Always nice to have another collector. Your 355 garage is awesome. I saw some of the scale Ferrari dealership signs you had on Ebay a while back.

Thanks Mule. Forgot to tell you, I think I have the same Ferrari Porcelin sign that you have sitting on the floor. I haven't displayed mines on the wall either. ;)

I found that in Minnisota. It is stamped steel. It was the only Ferrari thing in a huge auto store. Real nice for $15. I may hang it in the garage (someday).
