Who cares? Those are 3 of the most badass cars to ever be built. If I was handicapped, I would respect those beautiful machines and park a little further away without a problem :)

No reason to park where you shouldn't.

I'm gathering that you're NOT handicapped. If you were, your reaction would be quite different.

Generalizing ALL Ferrari drivers by the actions of 3 is wrong.

Anybody check for handicap mirror hanger tags? Maybe these poor Ferrari drivers are very messed up.

Agreed that's rude and more than a little insensitive to the handicapped if in fact the picture is accurately depicting the situation. I personally think doing this is simply asking for trouble. Let's just hope there are two sides to the story and the parking lot was blocked off for something causing them to park like that.

They're in New York so I'm certain someone on here knows them.

If they are so worried about their cars. Maybe they should have left them home and brought the SUV instead. No excuse for such boorish behavior. If I'm worried where I'm going to park my 599 I leave it at home and so should they.

The F50 and 430 are asking to get keyed......notice the F40 is just fine.

There is no excuse for not being to park one of the best handling cars ever built into a parking space defined by painted lines.

no excuse for using the handicapped spot on a general day but what was the occassion behind this photo? if a day out then poor form, an enzo and two Fs in the one place though isnt an everyday occurrence so there could be an event and reason they were there and parked there...who can say.

now as for parking in two spots in regular zones, my days of being polite are long gone. if assclowns cant pay attention opening a door then they can park 10yards further away.
i hardly take my cars out and when i do theres no way im going to obey convention for the sake of being polite just to have my doors dinged. ive tried to have faith in humanity and its never paid off. the majority of people cant view the world outside their bubble and so my only remedy is remove choice from them no matter how im viewed.
i always make sure i go near the back so as to minimize this impact but if ive a good car out then its two spaces for me every time.

Anyone ever consider that maybe the photo was staged, and the cars were moved afterwards ?

Are you serious? I really truly hope this was sarcasm.

Nor does he know anyone whom is.
I remember getting into it with a guy in an Audi A4, I looked at him and shook my head, and he rolled down his window and asked me what the deal was. I asked if he was handicapped or if he was waiting for someone who was, to which he replied there were three spots open and it doesn't matter. Three spots can fill up fast. He got aggressive to the point where he started walking towards me in a threatening manner. He seemed to back off when I pointed out the kind of example he was setting for his children in the back seat. I called the cops and sure enough, when I was walking back out of the grocery store he was getting a ticket. I blew him a little kiss as I walked to my 308 at the far end of the lot.

Yeah because nobody ever has meetings, luncheons, dates, or you know, weddings at a Golf course, right?
    Idiot.

I highly doubt that. Staged for what purpose?

Interestingly enough, this is the same F50 here:

i always park in the handicapped spot, but then again i have a placard. its worth its weight in gold. you don't have to feed the meters either. the placard is better than a tag because it can be used in any vehicle.

After looking at the pictures, it is quite obvious that the F50 and Enzo drivers are indeed handicapped. I applaud these individuals for still trying to drive even with their obvious handicaps.

Went to the Colorado Grand today (see pics in the Rocky Mountain section) and all Ferraris were parked correctly. there was a Corvette parked diagaonally across two parking spaces (not handicapped spaces) and because of the 45 degree angle actually blocked 3 spaces. So are all Corvette owners asshats now? ;)

    Phil,
I was there as well and parked my 430 with the riff raff in one spot. No problems and I do it frequently. I do look for end spots were I can get the car as far as possible from the adjoining spot. I think taking two or more spots is asking to be keyed. Parking in HC spaces is really bad form regardless of car type though I understand the frustration with there often being more than enough HC spaces. Still, I never do it. Sorry we didn't bump into each other.

I think those folks who insist on parking right next to my 355 in an otherwise nearly-empty parking lot (when I'm parked waaayyy out at the farthest spot) are asshats. Happens at least once a week (I drive mine nearly as a daily driver).

I am glad we didn't "bump into each other" as I was in the 360...but I would have enjoyed seeing and talking with you. ;)

Hope all is well. Lots of great cars today and the weather was great. Too bad they let evil Corvette drivers attend such an otherwise classy event. ;)

Of course it never does "pay off" to have faith in others, as they are mutually exclusive. You are expecting a "pay off", and you will be sadly disappointed. Just enjoy your two parking spaces for your one car, and don't leave your bubble to see how others may view you.
