My 575M has a charcoal interior, as does LdM's 599. You will love the car. Cannot wait for photos.

Honestly, this is going to be one of the best looking 599s. There is one particular Fiorano that is owned by an FChatter here which has yet to be topped in my opinion as far as sheer looks are concerned. Yours sir, will be a contender. Can't wait until the fall!

    Best,

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Now all we can do is wait and hope that the result will be what I was hoping for. I'm pretty confident about the choice of colours I made but still ... always very exciting to see what the final outcome will be.

Yes, it is going to be a long summer but the F430 will help overcome that.

Pictures will be posted as soon as she is ready.

Ape: looking forward to share and exchange impressions.
Carlo: Monaco is on our "flight" plan back home from Maranello. Maybe we can have a coffee at Café de Paris?

    Cheers,

    M

Outstanding spec! I particularly like some of the smaller features, like the CF door handles (sweet!). I don't know whether the CF diffuser counts as a "smaller" feature, but that's pretty trick as well.

My 599 is in Titanio -- interior is based on Cuoio, but with many special additions in charcoal leather (a-pillars, upper dash, sides of steering wheel, Daytona inserts) and stitching (just about everywhere). The grey/grey combination makes for a very enjoyable view from the driver's seat, and makes the car as stealthy as a 599 can be -- although the HGTE will be something else altogether!

Will look forward to many photos -- happy anticipation!

Thanks. Titanio is also a colour I considered for quite some time. Especially after seeing the 16M at the Geneva car show. This colour in combination with the interior you describe above must be really nice. I did indeed put little CF details into the car which make it a little more personal. That is what I love about Ferrari. They allow you to build a car which really feels "yours" ate the end of the day.

I see you went with the Challenge wheels. Will those wheels be offered in the same size as the bigger 5 spoke - 3 piece wheels that are part of the HGTE package? I prefer the Challenge wheels; not much drama with those 5 spoke wheels.

No- They will be 1/2" narrower at the front, 8" vs 8.5" for the OZ wheels.

Interesting. I have the Michelin Pilot's on my M6. They are indeed good. What exactly was it that made you unhappy about the Pirelli's?

Aren't the Pirelli's on the rear of the 599 much stickier than the Michelins providing better traction?
