Lane, Ferrari only, or open to "and friends"?

Tina and I hope to be there tomorrow morning. Well, if she sleeps in, at least I plan to come.

Nah, Lane reminds me of one of my high school buddies. He was always comin' up with some crazy scheme. I'd go along with him and somehow this scheme always ended up with me be detained in the principal's office. Never anything too serious mind you. Just a bit of harmless fun.

Lane, count me in on your scheme. I'm cancelling whatever I had scheduled for October 18th. Just hope that I don't end up at the principal's office again!!!

As you know "my freinds" are always welcome but in this case I am not in control. All are welcome but the venue is supercars. Not sure what that means yet or how its defined. I will let you know as I find out. It may just mean a differant parking spot.

Ed...In this case, you might just want to be stuck in HER office describing what a bad boy you've been. I'm betting there will be a line. Again....trust me.

Frank...no longer the fraternity...now Fratelli

Event #3 :: The Connecticut Rally @ Foxwoods Resort Casino ::

October 18th, 2009 - The Connecticut Rally @ Foxwoods Resort Casino

We [Manolis & friends ] are ecstatic to present none other than Saint Bastage as the member of the month!! In my opinion the most qualified Connecticut resident to spearhead our year end grand finale event. We had a blast today cruising through the twistys and hearing the music from Lane's 348 Serie Speciale! We have planned an unbelievable road trip backed by the full promotion of Foxwoods Casino. They are psyched to host the greatest Exotic Car Rally that has ever passed through their grounds. Yes it will be a grand event. We invite exotics from the entire North East to join us in celebration of our region. We will also invite exotic car clubs from New Hampshire to New York City as featured guests.

This event (just like every event I have organized) is completely FREE. We are not a business. We are a group of exotic car enthusiasts that decided to give back to the community by organizing 7 events per year in a structured fashion. To become a member you must participate with your exotic or supercar. What makes this event even more special is that we are opening it up for everyone to visit & view the cars while we have lunch at the resort. It will be a spectacular site. The rally portion will only be open to participating members.

Best part... It will be a charity event.... a very special surprise. Specifics to be announced later this week. Save the date. Feel free to PM Saint Bastage or myself!

Beautiful day for a ride. Welcome to Scott (360), Rick (Saleen Mustang), and Chris with Griffin (MGA). All wonderful cars and nice guys. Broke up a little early (11:00) for various reasons, most of all, to nice a day to stand around a parking lot when you could be driving.

Hockey season is becoming a real challenge for me. I had to get back home then head out to Worcester for a double header. Can't wait till he gets his own license.

It was a such a beautiful weekend to get the cars out and drive. I am sure glad I got rid of my work responsibilities as that would have killed the entire weekend for me. Scott's 360 did sound great leaving and the ride height (ahem!) looked pretty damn aggressive. You know this is under my skin....

I ordered polished stainless tips to fit over the stock ones and and REAL Italian horn kit ... my projects are small time at this point.

I did have a "breakthtough" Saturday. I took my wife out to dinner at Grant's in West Hartford center in the 430 and parked on the street right near the restaurant. Except for the parking ticket (expired meter) nothing bad happened.

My calendar is totally cleared for Oct 18th

Next weekend we are going out of town so I am a no for any Sunday activities

Have a good week fellow "Gatherers"

+1, love WH center for dinner, especially Grants. Parking is hit or miss, never brought the 355 down there...usually take the Firebird, nice area for convertible cruising. A few weeks ago saw a blue 360 spider parked on the street too.

I have recently discovered WH as well. Great area, lots to choose from. I wish all city centers were as nice. We go to The Counter or Max Burger a lot, or Cheesecake now and then. Haven't had a chance to go anywhere else yet.

Driving down from Agawam is the best part. It's all "back roads" and a nice leisurely drive. The M3 with the top down is the preferred vehicle.

Hey Guys...This Foxwoods thing is turning in to a monster. Your not going believe how big its getting. Seeing as we are the (more or less) hosts, I need help with the following tasks:

Route leaders - in exotics or supercars to become familiar with the route.
Camera Cars - M3, S6 or similar - mounted High Def Video to follow designated supercars.
Corner workers - any car, in radio contact.
Photographers - any car, in radio contact. Probably 10 great tripod spots along the route
Safety car - SUV, Radio contact, Sweeps route prior to launch.

Who can step up?

Hi Saint B,

The above sounds suspiciously like an ad for the armed services or maybe just the Free Masons. Whatever you've got up your sleeve count me in on it. I shall make myself available to assist however possible.

PM sent.

Was it worth the dog house for a few days? Perhaps your wife should consider starting the "weekend widow" club. There gonna need some trained nanny's and Vodka...Lots of Vodka.

Assign me anything you like as long as I can be in my Alfa. I'll understand if you don't make me a route leader since the other cars may have difficulty keeping up.

She was in the car for the first time over the weekend. We went out to dinner in it and drove around a little before heading back. She actually said, "that was kind of fun"

I showed her Gunnar's article and she thought it was pretty cool ... there is hope

I don't want to give away any details...but I heard a rumor they've arranged for a fly over by the International Space Station...and a certain cosmonaut is thinking about jumping out and landing in the middle of the meet. Negotiations are ongoing to have him carry a Ferrari flag on the way down...
