It was a fun time at Lime Rock. I decided to go up today to beat the crowds and try to get some decent pictures. Having a comp day from work didn't hurt either.

One of the 360 Challenge cars hit the wall hard and destroyed the front end. The F40 spun out too, but no apparent harm was done.

Here are some quick sample shots in no particular order.

The number 11 blue/silver 360 was the winner of the race today.

Have fun out there tomorrow and take sunscreen, there is little shade to be had.

I'll try to put the rest of the pictures up today.

Camera is nothing special, a 3 year old Nikon CoolPix 995. Only 3.3 MegaPixels, the trick is to crop and tweak in Photoshop to get all you can out of the picture.

The best trick is to turn off the built-in sharpening feature of the camera and use the Photoshop tool instead, makes a huge difference.

Now if only I had one of those digtals SLR's... :)
