Kevin...I have passed the word for this event in Charlotte and I hope some guys in the area make the drive down. It definitely looks like a fantastic event. I had planned on driving down, but just found out I'll be traveling all next week arriving back home Friday afternoon. I know now that I will not get a kitchen pass after being gone all week.
Can't wait to see it, Russ. I intend to bring the '61 Vespa. My bet is we'll be at opposite ends of every single scale (horsepower, price, condition, etc.)
Kevin, I will be attending as well as long as the car is ready to go. I will be stopping by this week to say hello and to check on its status over at AI.
End of the week... time for another update on our participant list. As you can see, we've added a good number since last week! Do keep in mind that the registration deadline is this coming Monday (23rd) at Noon. Email me at [email protected] to register your Italian vehicle. Sorry Kevin, I won't be able to make it to Charlotte this time around. I have a wedding to attend to on Saturday.
Kevin - Luca and I will be coming down to CLT for this event. Not sure how long the little dude will want to stay (hey, a 3-year old is fickle!), but weather permitting we'll see you on Saturday!
You know, I thought about it actually... but I think the three of us just wouldn't fit in the 348. If the weather is dicey and we come in the MINI, then yeah... Remy will come too.
Kevin its not looking good weather wise. Do you have a rain date or will you go ahead rain or shine? Russell
I talked to Kev this morning, and I believe he is planning to go with the "rain date" or Saturday, April 4. We should see an email today with the change.
Due to the ominous weather predicted for this weekend, our Third Annual "Motori Italiani" Event will be moving one week to SATURDAY, APRIL 4. Everything else remains the same, just a week later. The good news is that the registration deadline has also moved to this coming Monday at noon. So if you can now participate on the 4th and have not already signed up, feel free to email me at [email protected]. Kevin Fielden CAFE - Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts
Probably a good decision - weather forecast doesn't look good at all.. But now, what will I do with a cleaned-up and freshly waxed car for the next week?????
