Didn't know where to post this.. The first time I did it in Funny Pictures, but, somehow felt CA should get the credit. Yes, in my area, Santa Rosa CA j:| The license plate it blocked out to protect me from not reporting this fine auto to the CHP: Then again, I owe it to the people to get it off the road. WELL, on way to lunch one day, about a month ago, I saw this on the way and had to stop....was almost afraid the owner would pop a cap in me... Such detail, such an nice rendition of a classic, the new Lambo-mucas, I'm lacking in Lambo background, perhaps someone can enlighten. .......still trying to understand how much he put into this. Oh, CELLPHONES: Making myspace and Youtube more relevant. THEN, Christmas Eve '08, I was making some last min. shopping and as I drove by the same alley, saw it again IN THE Rain, and yup, this car has no windows save the terrific windshield, if you can call it that. LET ME point out the highlights A pillar is broken near the bottom to allow for a more raked profile Yes, if you look closely, that is Electrical tape top and side and bottom of the windshield : I'm sure it's over spec ..... The rear, well, can't quite be described...., more airfoils and holes and whatnot to , well, not sure: Bet the drag co. is very, very low :| or I'm guessing the sucking ability just makes for awsome following impossible. The ROOF, wow, ready for the track....... It's sheetmetal :| A 'couple' hood scoops....guess he had too much territory or too many carbs in that engine to service Some side, front fender mod, guess in the works. LOVE the lambo symbols.... fool anyone I'm sure What engineering, what detail, what is it doing in the rain, without windows.... I would be afraid some one would steal my expensive radio, or seat cushion.... What am abomination ! The worst part is- I'm sure the owner enjoys it, thinks it looks nice, and that he has a rare gem of a car !
I love the spray painted rear bumper with the over spray. And the sheet metal roof.. what was he thinking? Its like his shed blew down in a bad storm and he used the pieces to built his B rated exotic car.
Ok... I'm stumped... I'm trying to figure out what it started life as... and I cant place it. I'll give the builder credit for that.
I saw this when you posted it in the Funny Pictures Thread. OMG! What was this moron thinking? Love that Shiny Roof The Bull on the Front is very realistic. YEAH RIGHT!
I'm curious about the cutout on the right front fender. In your first pic it looks lke it has a filler piece in place. On a later pic you can see the frame .. does he remove that for brake cooling during spirited runs? Is there one on the left fender or just the right? He might be on to something
Looks like late 80s RX-7. http://www.rx7city.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2652&sid=61199d1749389582e94f4fa70900d3c1
The only redeeming quality of this car is that it is so ugly, that it cannot and does not represent itself as a replica of another car. Technically, it doesn't even qualify as a "crappy replica".
Yes, but it a one-off and that brings the value up.... then you realize that the roof is sheet metal, it has no windows and, the windshield is held on with electric tape and the value goes WAYYYY down... The sad part about this, he has messed up every part of this car one way or another. When its totalled out, the wrecking yard has no use for any of its parts. When the wrecking yard doesnt want your car, its really junk.
