No, the picture is too dark.:p

I would contact mark e from this site if you want to supercharge. Well though out and well engineered. Unfortunately not for sale.

Heck, I think these guys could do better volume than they're planning for, I don't have the cash on hand at the moment, but I'd love one!

I supercharged a stock V8 Porsche 928 engine w/intercooler, all bolt-on brand new off the shelf parts for $7K.....Great power for the money ;)

So why Supercharging a 308 V8 any different and so much more expensive that any other SC kit on the market?? Their $20K price DOES NOT even include installation - just parts!

You got to be kidding....Maybe the fact that they're located in LA is worth $10K premium...

Complete rip off in my opinion - VK

Mark's set-up would cost less than 10k minus the direct fire ignition.

It is in use now on his own car. He has surprised a few people with it.

Interesting... The page shows two different intercoolers. A Vortech Aftercooler in one of the pics and something different installed on the car. Would be nice to know which one you're getting before spending that type of coin. Also, I think the guys 50-100% increase is pushing it. Sorry, but twin-screws are just not that efficient.

Kudos to the guy for undertaking such a product, but I think he's trying to sell to those that are unfamiliar with supercharging.....and taking them to the cleaners.

    Edit:

Guess I was wrong about the intercooler......

Maybe 50% more efficient than a Roots type or centrifugal. I heard the screw type is the best bang for the buck with the widest power band.

Mark is a guy that sells Compomotive Wheels and is a Distributor for them, this is the old web site they had. http://www.usacomp.com/ts.htm

He had the package done at Blackhorse motors on his Mondial, I believe the cost was around $12,000 from what I understood from the guys there and it a damn long time to get done. But as usualy they did a great job with it!

He is wet dreaming about the price, but thats my personal opinion! When I was selling my extra set of wheels he also wasted my time. Good thing, I sold them for more! I always see him driving a P Car, so who knows what his real expertise is?

Here's the pictures cleaned up a bit. It looks like a good system to me. You'll want to upgrade the clutch when you do this. It's a bit pricey IMO, but it's a lot of work to build the stuff too. Just an EFI conversion will run about 3k in parts plus the manifold work (I hope they are including this), which I've seen quote from 600-3000 to do. The blower is probably about 2k, another 1k in pulleys and such, the intercooler could run 500-2500 depending what they are using, then you need the heatexchanger and water pump, so another 500 there, then all the brackets. So I see parts that cost them 7k or 8k to buy that would make the retail on the kit about 12k or maybe 14k if they are doing the manifold EFI work. I don't know where the other 4k is. You could lose the intercooler and save some money, it really isn't required until you get over 350 or CA gas (91), 375 or so everywhere else (93).

"I'd buy that for a dollar"

Seriously - $10K maybe. The Tec-3 and thottle bodies are about a $3-4K setup...
