I know there has been some talk on M vs older GT brake rotors and disks not matching up, but seeing these on ebay, got me to thinking about a swap of some sort.

The older 456 GT brake setup are not bad, but feel I might benefit more from the newer M style: any insights would be helpful. thanks

Are those OEM? The rotors on my 2001 M are not cross-drilled, just vented... did they change them for '03?

    His details:
I also asked him about the part numbers. I probably would never buy such important items from ebay or used, but was wondering more on getting them new or from rep. of some sort and into the 456 GT.

Those are the Pagid pads for sure. I have a box of them too all yellow like that. As for the rotors.

588 each new and they are not cross drilled. The same ones are on both the M and non M cars. I dont know where these came from or if he took a set and had them drilled. Probably an aftermarket set. I thought you couldn't machine cross drilled rotors.
Someone who knows maybe can chime in.

I was curious (and tempted), too. They look slick and I thought they might have been a mid-model upgrade.
